From the popular discussion group, A Change Of Scene, comes group therapy for gay, bisexual & queer men in recovery for addiction. Whether you are part of a recovery community, in individual therapy, part of a support service, or following your own recovery lifestyle, the group is suitable only for those entering into, engaging with, or already committed to their recovery process. In the group, we will explore what lies beneath your addiction, to help support, heal and feel your recovery process. You will have the chance to make authentic connections with other men in recovery, feel your feelings, and deepen your emotional intimacy with yourself – and others.
The group meets weekly in person, breaking over holiday periods. Spaces in the group are limited. The group is facilitated by therapist Simon Marks, who specializes in LGBTQi+ mental health, trauma, addiction and recovery.
